BEETLE
“There is no better designer than nature.” Alexander McQueen
This is profoundly evident in Vladimir Bohac’s unusual illustrations for A Book of Beetles, “a treasure house of the living world which reveals an astonishing variety of forms, colours and behaviour patterns.” Dr Josef R. Winkler
There will be an astonishing variety of textures, colours and patterns in the Autumn Winter 20 / 21 textile collections. This will range from the quieter, understated cashmere and wool blends in muted tones to the dramatic large-scale checks in shades of reds, black and white. Sophisticated tweeds, both plain and with micro-patterns, will become much finer and lighter in weight while unisex blazer stripes, in new linen and wool combinations, will have an unexpected touch which is both soft and dry.In contrast the fluid, rippled surfaces in silk & wool blends together with sophisticated, glossy floral patterns on fine gauzes will be the perfect candidates for sparkling eveningwear.
